RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My research interests have explored the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Assistive Systems, Affective Computing and their applications in the context of solving real-world problems to improve the quality of life of users in a Smart Home with a specific focus on the elderly population.
I have designed, deployed and evaluated systems that intelligently sense and analyze activities to understand the underlining user experience. I am interested in bringing about the future of Ambient Intelligence in Smart Homes through Assistive AI and its applications. I aspire to develop systems that can analyze the simple actions users perform in their everyday lives with an aim to help them augment their performance and enhance their user experience in the context of Activities of Daily Living.
